Resolute

The brief

While there are many strategies to losing weight, the results ultimately come down to one thing: consuming less calories than you burn.

After gaining 30 pounds over COVID, I was looking for a way to track my calories. I tried several existing apps, but either they were lacking core features or overcomplicated. And many were too expensive and required yearly subscriptions, which didn't make sense for me since I wasn't looking to lose weight indefinitely.

Through exploration of different apps I would lose the 30 pounds that I had gained, but was left unsatisfied by the current apps on the market.

My goal: To use what I'd learned from my journey to create a weight loss app that helped users to track their calories in the easiest way possible, while remaining easy on the wallet.
